Hair Removal

The Erase equipment has a modern Intense Sub-Zero cooling system, which is gentle to the skin making the treatment painless. Unlike laser hair removal systems, Erase Intense Pulsed Light can treat almost all kinds of skin and hair, with fewer side effects and at a lower cost. Laser treatments, on the contrary, cannot be applied to certain skin types as they are very aggressive on delicate skin.

IPL treatment is based on a technology that delivers rapid pulses of high intensity light to the area that is being treated, the light energy is converted to heat which destroys the hair follicle from the base, inhibiting future growth.

Skin Rejuvenation

As you get older, the appearance of the skin changes, the main cause of ageing is collagen breakdown within our skin cells. As you age, your skins ability to produce collagen is diminished. This starts from the age of about 25, when the natural regenerative properties of the skin begin to reduce and collagen production slows down. The overall effect is thinner, more fragile skin which in turn is more susceptible to sun damage and the environment.

Skin Rejuvenation helps the following concerns: age spots, wrinkles, acne scars, stressed skin, pigmentation, thread veins & refreshens the skins complextion.

Tattoo Removal

The removal of tattoos using lasers has been carried out for approximately 20 years, and has become more widespread since the mid-1990s.

During the treatment, most patients will experience small white dots which appear on the skin for several minutes after each firing of the laser – this is only water, vaporised by the heated tattoo pigment, and fades within a few minutes. After the treatment, minor bleeding may occur, with skin redness & swelling appearing over the treated area. The treated area may also feel very tender to the touch. This will fade over a few days. Once any blistering, crusting or scabs have resolved, the area of skin over the tattoo will look shiny for a number of weeks. It is vital that the skin is well looked after immediately after treatment. The treatment site should be considered as a minor burn and should not be picked at, and blisters should not be popped. There is a risk of infection if the area is not properly looked after.

It is very important that you follow the advice carefully after any laser treatment for tattoo removal to help make the procedure as successful as possible and to reduce the risk of complications.
