The Vampire Facelift Comes To Goole

The Clinical Care Company at Spoilt Rotten Beauty, Goole is now proud to be offering the much loved anti-aging facial procedure of A-list celebrities - The Vampire Facelift.

The treatment is actually known as PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Facial Rejuvenation. It is a medical facial that can be personalised to many ageing concerns for all age groups. Blood cells and plasma have regenerative properties and cells can rejuvenate skin, tendons, and bones, and when injected into the face, stimulate firmer and younger looking skin. As the procedure uses the patient’s own blood, it is metaphorically referred to as the “Vampire Facial”.

The Vampire technique involves collecting a sample of your own blood (about the same amount as in a blood test) and separating its components through a centrifuge in order to isolate and concentrate your platelets into the plasma. This substance is called ‘Platelet Rich Plasma’ or PRP. PRP is packed with the growth factors and stem cells needed to rejuvenate skin, help restore colour, tone and texture as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue!

After the treated area is cleansed an anaesthetic cream is applied to reduce discomfort. The PRP obtained is injected through superficial and deep transdermal injections under the dermis. Inside your skin, platelets contained in PRP release growth factors at a slightly increased concentration compared with normal blood. This stimulates deep cell processes, resulting in increased cell activity, producing components, such as collagen and elastin fibres, which are responsible for the elastic properties of the skin. Expected benefits are an increase of skin elasticity with smoothing of fine wrinkles along with improvement of skin tone and texture.

Natalie Lister, owner, said “We are expecting a lot interest in the Vampire Face Lift as more and more clients demand results driven treatments. We are very excited about being able to offer this cutting edge treatment which really can take years off a client!”
